BAR CORVINA is smart and
comfortable, with a dab of dark European mystery. The informal
bar area is great for a sherry, a few plates of tapas or meals
anywhere on the continuum from mezze through pasta, to more
substantial grills.
Journey past the mid-room divider and there's white napery, good glassware, and a quality feel. The food is modern,
adapting European traditions with understanding and flair, and all at fair prices. Main
courses are a combination of classic and innovative dishes along steak, fish and poultry lines.
It's easy to linger over the broad international wine list
which includes some obscurities worth uncovering, and a great
selection by the glass. The list includes snippets of wine
advice, wit and wisdom. There are delicious breakfasts every
day from 8am - 3pm, which compliment the menu featuring French,
Asian and Australian inspired dishes.
